Our Chamber News

Fun Trinidad Holiday Season!

Whew! From jingling sleigh bells and caroling on the Redwood Express, to touring a holiday lighting of Trinidad that was extra special this year, to eating way too much at the Chamber sponsored "Holidays By The Sea" party, to the creative creches displayed at Saints Martha and Mary Mission, to joining Song Circle singers at Trinidad Art Gallery and the WCA, to checking out the creative holiday tree at the Museum, to the "Winter Music" rehearsal of Vivaldi's "Autumn" and "Winter", to visiting Westhaven Community Center for their holiday dinner (all in one weekend!), it was certainly a fun holiday season here in Trinidad.

So many volunteers donating their time and energy to make it all happen, we are lucky to have such wonderful friends and neighbors. I'd like to especially thank Dori, Katherine and Sharon for heading up our Chamber "Holidays By the Sea" committee - you guys did great! Also thanks to the Sheens, Pilot Rock Ramblers, Trinadad Jazz Project, Dan and Catch Cafe, all our prize donors and helpful "elves", and of course everyone who came out to share their joy at our annual community dinner.

Hope everyone is having a great start to 2010. A great way to start working off any extra pounds you may have picked up is by training for the Trinidad to Clam Beach Run next month. Of course we'll need lots of volunteers to pull of this annual Trinidad event, so please make yourselves known, if you'd like to help out.
